At Homeward Bound Animal Hospital, our priority is providing you and your animal with individualized service and assuring your questions are answered. We offer mail order medications through our Online Pharmacy, house calls via Mobile Veterinary Services, staff-accompanied transfers to our affiliate after-hours hospital for overnight care if needed, as well as the following services provided by our in-house staff:
In addition to these services performed by our in-house staff, we also partner with local specialists when the need arises. These specialists include:
Diagnostic Imaging is a group board-certified veterinary radiologists who do ultrasound examinations of the abdominal organs and heart for us. Ultrasound can also be used to investigate mysterious lumps and bumps prior to surgery in some cases. Urinary bladder stones, kidney disease, and liver disease are just some of the diseases best evaluated by ultrasound examination.
Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology Specialists are a group of board-certified veterinary cardiologists who come to Homeward Bound to evaluate newly-diagnosed heart problems. They evaluate patients by listening to the heart, using ultrasound (known as “echo” when performed on the heart), and ECG (also known as EKG). These specialists consult with our doctors to determine the best course of treatment for these newly diagnosed patients and are available for future evaluations also if needed.
Homeward Bound veterinary surgeons have the ability to work beside surgical specialists when needed. Most surgical procedures, including orthopedic and complex soft tissue surgeries, can be done here at the hospital -- maximizing convenience for you and your pet.
